The Bachelor of Architecture at UJ is a professionally accredited degree that develops the intellectual, technical, and creative competencies required to practise as an architect in South Africa. Students engage with architectural design, building technology, urban design, history and theory of architecture, and professional practice — equipping them to contribute meaningfully to South Africa's built environment, from public infrastructure and social housing to heritage conservation and sustainable urban development.
