Overview/Details

Wits University acknowledges the financial challenges faced by some students and offers Hardship Funding to assist with registration and accommodation costs. The funding application process is divided into three categories based on the needs and eligibility criteria.

  • Students granted emergency accommodation will reside in shared Wits-accredited facilities, subject to periodic reviews.
  • If students secure external funding, they must vacate emergency accommodation to make their own arrangements.
