The Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship at the University of South Africa (Unisa) is a three-year open distance learning degree designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to create and grow enterprises in South Africa's challenging but opportunity-rich business environment. Students study business planning, innovation, venture financing, new product development, marketing, and small business management — equipping them to launch ventures and create employment. South Africa's high unemployment rate and untapped entrepreneurship potential make this qualification particularly relevant, as the country urgently needs more skilled entrepreneurs who can build sustainable businesses. Unisa's distance learning model is especially accessible to aspiring entrepreneurs who are already testing business ideas.

Admission requirements: National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Degree endorsement and at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning and at least 50% in Mathematics, or an appropriate Higher Certificate or Diploma in Economic and Management Sciences.
