The Bachelor of Health Sciences in Chiropractic at UJ is a six-year professional degree that qualifies graduates to register as chiropractors with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA). Students develop expertise in neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis, spinal manipulation, rehabilitation, and complementary health care — equipping them to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions across South Africa's growing private and integrated healthcare sector. UJ's chiropractic programme is one of only two such programmes offered in Africa.
