The Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of South Africa (Unisa) is a three-year open distance learning degree that develops students with a broad and practical business education covering management, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and organisational behaviour. Unlike the BCom which has a stronger commerce and economics focus, the BBA emphasises applied business management skills and entrepreneurial thinking suited to South Africa's dynamic private sector and small business environment. Unisa's distance learning format allows working South Africans — including entrepreneurs and business owners — to study while managing their enterprises. Graduates are equipped for management, business development, and entrepreneurship roles across South Africa's economy.
Admission requirements: National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Degree endorsement and at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning and at least 50% in Mathematics, or an appropriate Higher Certificate or Diploma in Economic and Management Sciences.
