The Bachelor of Administration specialising in Public Administration at the University of Pretoria is a three-year degree that prepares students for careers in the public sector by combining public sector management with specialisations including politics and international relations. The programme is the only degree in UP's Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences that integrates public sector management with international relations, exposing students to management environments in both the public and private sectors. Key areas covered include public financial and human resource management, international administration, policy and organisation studies, ethics, project management, intergovernmental relations, and administrative justice. The degree enhances students' understanding of responsible citizenship and the moral obligation of the state towards creating a better life for all South Africans.

Admission requirements: English (Home or First Additional Language): Level 5 (60-69%); Mathematics: Level 3 (40-49%) or Mathematical Literacy: Level 4 (50-59%); APS: 28 (excluding Life Orientation).
