The programme is housed in the Department of Language, Cultural Studies and Applied Linguistics, one of UJ's strongest departments for language-related fields.

Graduates are equipped to work across sectors where precise and culturally sensitive communication is essential.

Admission requires a minimum APS of 27 (excluding Life Orientation) and at least 60% in English. Mathematics is not required. NCV applicants are not considered for this programme. Selection is based on academic merit.
