This qualification equips students with the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and manage workplace health and safety risks in compliance with South African legislation such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act (No. 85 of 1993). Students study risk management, occupational hygiene, environmental health, and safety law. Graduates are prepared to develop and implement safety management systems across various industries in South Africa.
