The Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA), a branch of the Gauteng Department of Education, is dedicated to developing student skills within the province through bursaries, internships, learnerships, and career guidance programmes. For the 2025 academic year, the GCRA is offering bursaries to students residing in Gauteng for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in any field. The bursary covers registration fees, tuition fees, accommodation (up to R65,000 for on-campus and R47,000 for off-campus), books, a laptop, and a living allowance for off-campus accommodation.
