Overview/Details

The Motsepe Foundation, established by philanthropist Patrice Motsepe and Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe, is offering fully funded bursaries to academically deserving South African students who face financial barriers to accessing university education. The Foundation is committed to empowering South African youth and removing the financial obstacles that prevent talented young people from realising their potential.

This is one of the most comprehensive student funding packages available in South Africa. The bursary covers registration and tuition fees, university-accredited accommodation, prescribed books and stationery including a laptop, meals, a tutor allowance, and mental wellness support. Successful applicants are supported across all aspects of their student experience, not just their tuition costs.

The bursary is geographically targeted and is available to applicants from selected districts and municipalities across all nine South African provinces. Applicants should confirm that their area of residence falls within the supported regions before applying.
