The Bachelor of Emergency Medical Care at Nelson Mandela University is a four-year professional degree that trains paramedics to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care in South Africa. Students study emergency medical science, trauma management, pharmacology, and clinical decision-making, with extensive practical placements in ambulance services and emergency departments.
