The Extended Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Venda provides an extended access pathway for students who demonstrate aptitude for computing and mathematics but need additional academic preparation before engaging with the full programme. Over four years, students develop competency in programming, algorithm design, discrete mathematics, and data structures, emerging as graduates capable of contributing to South Africa's ICT and data economy. The programme supports the development of a new generation of African computer scientists from non-traditional schooling backgrounds.
