The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at UFS Bloemfontein is a research-oriented three-year degree offering major combinations in Animal Science, Agrometeorology, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Breeding, and Plant Pathology. Physical Sciences and Mathematics are compulsory for students wishing to take Chemistry modules. One of either Life Sciences or Agricultural Sciences must be offered alongside Physical Sciences.
