The Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech) in Civil Engineering at UJ is a three-year ECSA-accredited degree that develops engineering technologists capable of applying civil engineering principles to the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure. Students engage with structural analysis, construction technology, hydraulics, surveying, and project management — preparing graduates for careers in South Africa's construction, infrastructure, and built environment sectors. Graduates may register as Professional Engineering Technologists with ECSA.
