The Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and FET Phase Teaching with a specialisation in Accounting, Economics, Business Studies and EMS at Sol Plaatje University develops teachers who can equip learners with the economic and financial literacy South Africa urgently needs. The programme covers the teaching of Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, and Economic and Management Sciences (EMS) across Grades 7 to 12 — subjects that are chronically under-taught in rural and township schools. Graduates will contribute directly to improving learner performance in commerce subjects, supporting a more economically informed generation of South Africans.
