The Bachelor of Oral Health at UWC trains dental therapists and oral hygienists to deliver preventive and primary oral care across South Africa's diverse communities. With significant oral health disparities between wealthy and disadvantaged populations, UWC oral health graduates play a vital role in expanding access to quality dental care in the Western Cape and nationally. Students develop clinical expertise alongside strong community health skills, preparing them to work in both private practice and public health settings.
