The Diploma in Language Practice at DUT prepares students for professional careers as language practitioners in South Africa's 11-official-language landscape. The three-year programme at ML Sultan Campus develops competencies in professional communication, translation, interpreting, editing, and organising language-related activities in at least two South African and/or international languages. With the rise of multilingualism in South African courts, government departments, media, and international organisations, qualified language practitioners are increasingly in demand.
