Internship Overview

As a Winter Intern in Business Development at Visa, you'll contribute to the country strategy's success by identifying opportunities for business growth. The internship focuses on developing and maintaining relationships between Visa and its clients. Here's what you can expect:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide admin and operations support to the local team.
  2. Contribute to the development, production, and implementation of initiatives outlined in country plans.
  3. Conduct competition analysis and monitoring.
  4. Assist the local team with client queries and issues.
  5. Support Business Development with periodical reports.
  6. Assist in updating playbooks and country plans.
  7. Coordinate with other Visa departments to track country plans.
  8. Complete ad hoc projects, research, presentations, and other relevant initiatives as requested by management.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Develop a sales management mindset.
  2. Analyze data, trends, and make meaningful recommendations.
  3. Hone project management skills.
  4. Gain a thorough understanding of the payments landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree with a graduation date in summer 2025 or 2026.
  • Available for a winter internship from June 4 to August 29, 2023.
  • Excellent communication, story-telling, and presentation skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills desired.
  • Superior analytical and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a diverse peer group.
  • Ability to articulate viewpoints effectively to key stakeholders.
  • Self-confident and hands-on, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.
