What is the bursary about?

A merit-based program called the Clicks Foundation Bursary Fund was created to address the shortage of critical skills in the retail and pharmaceutical healthcare sectors. The bursary program advances the Group's values of transformation and sustainable growth while supporting South Africa's National Development Plan.

Criteria

In order to be eligible for the bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Confirmed South African citizenship
  • Registered 2nd, 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate students (Pharmacy and Commercial) These subjects include:
    1. Pharmacy
    2. Data Science
    3. Computer Science
    4. Property Studies
    5. Commerce in Information Systems
    6. Commerce in Marketing Management
    7. Commerce in Statistics and Data Science
    8. Commerce in Supply Chain Management
    9. Commerce in Marketing and Supply Chain Management
    10. Commerce in Information Systems & Technology
    11. Commerce in Transport & Logistics Management
    12. Commerce in Economic Sciences
    13. Commerce in Business Operations.
  • Aged between 19 and 35 years
  • Not be in possession of another bursary or subject to a bursary obligation

What does it cover?

A Clicks bursary covers the following cost for undergraduate studies at a South African university:

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Prescribed textbooks
  • Support in the form of study assistance and aids where required

How to apply?

To apply applicants must submit the following:

  • Proof of registration
  • Academic record
  • ID Copy
  • Motivational letter

Every year, on August 1st, the bursary application period begins and ends on October 31st. Applications submitted after the deadline or in part will not be reviewed.
